X-ray diffraction is also known as xrd it is an important technique to obtain the pattern of any crystal as well as the internal structure of the crystal when a beam of radiation incident over crystal atom then the energy of incident radiation is absorbed by the electron of the atom as a result of which electron starts oscillation about it’s mean position these oscillating electron emits radiation in all possible direction



here are be two cases
If the wavelength of the incident radiation is much larger than lattice parameter of the crystal then the radiation emitted of the electron will be completely in same of edge
Hence the phase difference as well as path difference variy shape so no any constractive and destractive pattern will be obtain if the wavelength of the incident radiation is small (x-ray) as the lattice parameter of the crystal the oscillation electron emits radiation in all possible direction which will be incompletely out of phase due to which there will be phase difference hence path difference so the secondary emitted radiation will interfere to each other so that constractive and destractive interference pattern is obtain which is known as x-ray diffraction pattern

Bragg’s diffraction law provide a technique to obtain a diffraction pattern of the crystal and hence there evaluation when x-ray incident over a crystal material the diffraction pattern due to different phase of the crystal is obtain in the different direction in this condition Bragg’s diffraction law give a condition to obtain diffraction pattern from crystal plane

The another technique to obtain the condition for x-ray diffraction pattern of any crystal may be obtain from the lave pattern
Since any crystal consist the periodic arrangement of lattice space of the crystal therefore when a beam of x-ray incident over a crystal material then after passing through it spot of the atom of crystal i.e get located on the screen which is called lave pattern or lave feature the study of lave pattern may be deduce the condition to obtain the condition for x-ray diffraction of the crystal
